Overview

Most hardware tends to be very utilitarian. Many believe there is no room for beauty in marine hardware. Due to these ideals, the market is saturated with mundane products lacking unique style comparable to their vessels.

Our goal was to create a quality hardware series fit for use in luxury vessels. We began with the most commonly overlooked items: steering wheels, cleats, and furniture hardware. Concept sketches were refined into design layouts, and then into digital models for prototyping.

The Axe model offers classic contemporary style reminiscent of 70s muscle cars. Its handles can be adjusted into varying positions to suit the driver’s needs. The cleats offer a modernized take on the ubiquitous equipment. We even targeted the seemingly trivial realm of latch hardware. Our design provides for stability while reducing hours from typical installation time.

The Axe wheel’s classic, contemporary style was influenced by cars from the 1970s.

The Action Latch keeps cabinetry from opening during rough ocean commutes.
