This contractual drawing was made to depict possible interior decor for the salon and galley.1
Description
Examples of deliverable artwork typically contracted by marine clientele.
Overview
Artwork was often a vital part of our contract time line. Whether it was a precursor to an advertisement, or simply to display one’s future vessel, renderings play an important role in client satisfaction. The following are examples of such art:
1. This stylized salon and galley rendering was used to quickly communicate our interior design thoughts to the client. We first developed an underlay perspective drawing and later added color and dimension. The methods used allowed for easy decor modification at the client’s request. This allowed us to tailor the design for the client, without escalating the contract price.
2. This piece was one of three in a series of photorealistic renderings created for M-Boats. They were derived from a simple block-model rendering and touched up with added levels of detail. The images were framed and hung in the client’s office as inspiration. Once the catamaran was complete, the renderings would then be used as promotional materials.
Part of a rendering series for inspiration, marketing, and promotion.2
